By Ajay in News

Nagarjuna is in talks with Tamil director Radha Mohan for his next film after this December’s Rummy. It’s a bilingual project that will be made in Telugu and Tamil at the same time and the Tamil version is tentatively titled Payanam. No word yet on the Telugu version’s title.
This would be Nagarjuna’s first direct appearance in Tamil cinema after 1997’s Rakshakudu (Ratchagan in Tamil.
Radha Mohan is best known for 2008’s Abhiyum Naanum (Akasamantha in Telugu), a tender family story starring Prakash Raj that received rave reviews. Now he’s turning his attention to a different genre – action thrillers. Upon completing the script, he pitched his idea to Nagarjuna who promptly accepted.
In an interview, Radha Mohan said, “The film is about the emotions of a man who recalls in a train journey. I am transforming Nagarjuna as a man who remembers the people he met and the incidents that happened a long time back. Major part of the flick is happening inside a train, so we are planning to rent a train for 25 days.”
The movie is being produced in Tamil by Prakash Raj under his Duet Films banner and in Telugu by Dil Raju under his Sri venkateswara Creations banner. As far as cast and crew are concerned, Prakash Raj is the only confirmed actor, besides Nagarjuna. Music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad while the cinematography will be handled by Gagan.
Currently, the movie is expected to begin shooting in December and is planned for release in summer 2010. Stay tuned for updates.
