allu arjun hectic schedule

While most actors would consider post-production on their current movie and pre-production on their next movie to be a hectic workload, Allu Arjun is taking on 4 projects at once. Here’s a rundown of the busy actor’s workaholic schedule:

1. Aarya 2 – co-starring Kajal Agarwal and Navdeep, this Sukumar directed and Dil Raju produced sequel to the 2004 hit Aarya is currently undergoing final post-production. The music of the film is being launched in October with Ram Charan Teja as the chief guest and the film is planned for release towards the middle of November.

2. Vedam – a character driven film in which Allu Arjun is playing the role of a slum dweller, Manoj Manchu is portraying the role of a rock star and Anushka is supposedly essaying the role of a prostitute. Famed Hindi actor Manoj Bajpai is part of the supporting cast. Directed by Krish (short for Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, who directed the critically lauded Gamyam), produced by Prasad Devineni/Shobu Yarlagadda and with music by M M Keeravani, Vedam is slated for release during Sankranthi 2010.

3. Varudu – directed by Gunasekhar and produced by D V V Daniah, this film has recently begun shooting. A new heroine will be making her debut alongside Arjun while Suhasini has joined the cast as Allu Arjun’s mother. Naresh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji and Vinay Prasad round out the supporting cast. Music by Mani Sharma, cinematography by R D Rajasekhar, fights by Stun Siva and art by Ashok. Varudu is currently slated for release in Spring 2010.

4. Badrinath – the only solid piece of info known about this movie is that it’s being directed by V V Vinayak and the script is being finalized. My sources tell me that it’s being planned for a late 2010 release, so there’s still plenty of time. Stay tuned for more updates.
